Grace Schuler | What did your scholarship mean over the past year? What were you able to accomplish that you wanted to do? For me over the past year, the NACE scholarship meant that I was able to finish my junior year of college and accept a six-month internship at The Ritz-Carlton, St. Thomas! Without NACE’s help, I would not have accomplished many of goals this year, nor would I have had the opportunities to do so. Moreover, through NACE, I was able to attend EXPERIENCE 2022 and EVOLVE 2023 as well! I’ve enjoyed every moment and have learned a lot, met many amazing people, and grown in the process. What is your next goal in your career? Where would you like to go now? My next goal is to figure out where I would like to land after college. I am nervous for the future, but also very excited because through NACE, school, family, and colleagues, I feel very supported and set up for success. |
Olivia Fagerman | What did your scholarship mean over the past year? What were you able to accomplish that you wanted to do? “The scholarship helped achieve my educational goals. I was able to graduate in three years and get into the workforce full time that I was so eager to join! I started my first three years at a luxury floral and decor company and for the past year, I have had the pleasure of working at AFR Furniture Rental. What is your next goal in your career? Where would you like to go now? I hope to continue growing sales in the South Texas region at AFR Furniture Rental and continue growing and learning!” |
